Animal Testing Policy

Nutrimetics shares its Consultants and customers concerns for animal welfare.

Nutrimetics’ pledges that, "Finished products have not been tested on animals". Occasionally we receive enquiries as to why we state the finished product has not been tested on animals, and not the ingredients themselves. Unfortunately there is no cosmetic company which can truly state that at some point in time, specific ingredients have not been not tested on animals.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure our ingredients are not tested on animals, it would be inappropriate and misleading to make a 'blanket' statement that the ingredients are not tested on animals.

Nutrimetics Policy on Animal Testing has not changed in any way since the foundation of the company.

We proudly stand behind our policy which states:

"It is Nutrimetics’ opinion that sufficient non-animal alternative safety testing methods have now been developed, which make it no longer necessary to perform animal tests on cosmetic end products.

Nutrimetics will not conduct or commission any animal tests on any product or ingredient at any time during or after development or launch of a product. Nor do we condone such testing.

Nutrimetics uses ingredients such as Honey and Beeswax in some of our products. Apart from these exceptions, Nutrimetics always chooses vegetable derived or natural non-animal ingredients in our formulations."
