A precious discovery, naturally

The inspiration for the phenomenon that is Nutrimetics originated in 1961 in the mystical Himalayan valley of the Hunza. There was discovered a remarkable community which was said to have found the secret of long life, and the skin of the inhabitants possessed an extraordinarily youthful appearance.

What was their secret? Quite simply, it was the precious oil derived from the Apricot Kernel. This incredible discovery led to the creation of one of the first naturally inspired skincare ranges - Nutrimetics.

From these early beginnings 45 years ago, Nutrimetics grew rapidly to become one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading skincare companies and a global force in the development of skincare, colour cosmetics and beauty products. While we owe much of this success to the products themselves, we believe the strength of the Nutrimetics business lies also in our complete, inclusive and caring approach to our employees and our independent field partners.
