‘I grew up with Nutrimetics and remember seeing my mum’s travel boutique and Apricot Body Dew in the house from about the time I was seven years old. I then started using Teena-metics and progressed to the Heritage range. I went to lots of “parties” but never got involved as I did not know there was a business opportunity.

‘When my neighbour invited me to her party, I thought it was the same as usual but was pleasantly surprised. Here I met Georgette Nicoski and we had a really fun hour. Georgette shared how we could earn a good weekly income doing up to 12 hours’ work a week.

‘I was a chef at the time, clearing $367 a week, so I purchased a kit and agreed to do four shows where I earned $700 in two weeks. I was hooked. I had been looking for something else as I wasn’t happy cooking any more (I’ve done it for 15 years). Once I saw the money I learned to treat Nutrimetics as a business straightaway.

‘I continued working full time and doing Nutrimetics part time and, after eight months, I had saved $10 000 from Nutrimetics so I left my job. My husband joined me in the business a couple of years later, in 1998.

‘I have a daughter, Natalie, who is seven and a son, Ryan, who is two. Both John and I run our Nutrimetics business as a family business so it is total teamwork at home. Before children, we had built a substantial business through doing consistent Show Plan [now Spa Shows] so we were prepared as our business grew as Natalie was born.

‘As this is our sole income, we are constantly setting new goals and continue with sourcing new business. After having Ryan in 2004, I decided it was time to step up our business and really move forward. I committed that I would do whatever it took. That was a year ago. Nutrimetics really provides an awesome opportunity to thrive in both business and family life.

‘With Nutrimetics I have enjoyed eight international trips, a beautiful weekend at the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Surfers Paradise, as well as four brand-new cars, nights being presented with gorgeous diamonds in Greece and Hong Kong. The rewards have been incredible over 10 years, and to be able to grow into the person I am today would have to be the highest point, knowing I am in control of where I’m at in life and where I can go. It’s priceless.
